Harry has fallen asleep in a chair beside his bedroom window. His possessions lie scattered around the room, including some copies of the Daily Prophet.

The Chosen One

One of them has a story—under the title "Harry Potter: The Chosen One?"—about the speculation surrounding the Battle of the Department of Mysteries. Ministry employees are not allowed to talk, according to an Obliviator interviewed by the paper, but sources have confirmed that the disturbance was centred on the fabled Hall of Prophecy, whose very existence was never confirmed by the Ministry of Magic.

General belief has it that Death Eaters were trying to steal a Prophecy that concerned Harry Potter, now often referred to as "the Chosen One", and his upcoming defeat of Lord Voldemort.

Scrimgeour

Another story reports that Rufus Scrimgeour has succeeded Cornelius Fudge (HBP1). Scrimgeour, former Head of the Auror office in the Department of Magical Law Enforcement, is a man with a ravaged face and highly thick hair.

Rufus' appointment was welcomed by the wizarding community, but rumours of a rift between him and Dumbledore appeared. The two wizards met immediately after Scrimgeour took the job, but did not disclose the topics discussed.

Hogwarts

Scrimgeour has determined new security measures to protect returning Hogwarts students. They are not publicly detailed, but sources have confirmed the use of several spells, countercurses, and a small force of Aurors (HBP8).
