Vernon Dudley is an alias Harry Potter uses when the Trio is captured by a group of Snatchers. He claims to be a Slytherin—he accurately describes the Slytherin common room when Greyback asks him to—and the son of Mr. Dudley, who works the Department of Magical Accidents and Catastrophes (DH23).
