Vernon Dursley is the Muggle husband of Petunia Dursley, the father of Dudley Dursley and Harry Potter's legal guardian.
Characteristics
Physically, Vernon is described as a large, beefy man with little neck, a large moustache and a vein on his forehead that tends to bulge when he is irritated (OP1). Like Petunia, he cherishes normality, and goes to extreme lengths in both to "stamp [the magic] out" of Harry and to prevent Harry from attending Hogwarts (PS3). He even wanted to kick Harry out after Dudley was attacked by a Dementor on August 2, 1995 (OP1). He is quite foul-tempered.
