Summary

The chapter opens with two Death Eaters, Yaxley and Severus Snape, who are walking towards Malfoy Manor to meet with Voldemort and other Death Eaters. Once they get there and are seated, Snape tells Voldemort when the Order of the Phoenix is going to move Harry Potter from his current home. After Snape finishes talking, Yaxley says he heard something that contradicted Snape's information but Voldemort ignores him. Snape then tells Voldemort that Potter will be hidden at the home of one of the members of the Order. Then the Death Eaters talk about the Ministry of Magic falling and Yaxley reveals that he placed an Imperius Curse on Pius Thicknesse. The Death Eaters then discuss what method of transportation the Order will use to move Harry Potter. Voldemort then takes Lucius Malfoy's wand so he has a wand to kill Harry Potter with. Then the Malfoys are embarrassed when Voldemort teases them about Remus Lupin and Nymphadora Tonks getting married since they are related to the Malfoys. Afterwards, Voldemort looks up at Charity Burbage, the former Muggle Studies teacher at Hogwarts, who had been hanging from the ceiling unconscious the whole time. Voldemort then wakes her up and kills her because she wrote an article that defended Muggles. Voldemort lets Nagini eat her dead body for dinner.
