Sturgis Podmore is a member of the Order of the Phoenix. Moody complained that Sturgis had borrowed his best Invisibility Cloak and not returned it (OP9); Podmore was scheduled to escord Harry Potter to Platform Nine and Three-Quarters, but did not appear (OP10).
It was later revealed that Sturgis had been arrested on August 31. He underwent trial at the Wizengamot and was sent to Azkaban for trying to break into the Department of Mysteries while under the Imperius Curse. A watchwizard named Eric Munch arrested him (OP14).
