St. Mungo's Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries is apparently the biggest wizard hospital in London. It was founded by Mungo Bonham. Its Healers are highly qualified; like a regular Muggle medical facility, the building has different areas and departments, sorted by the type of problem affecting the patient.

The access to St. Mungo's is through the window of an old-fashioned department store displaying "Closed for Refurbishment" signs, but it is likely that there are other ways to enter: one wouldn't want, say, a purple man sprouting tentacles to cruise a Muggle street. It seems safe to assume that wizards can Apparate to the hospital.

St. Mungo's' areas are:

  • Artifact accidents (ground floor)
  • Creature-Induced injuries (first floor)
  • Magical Bugs (second floor)
  • Potion and Plant Poisoning (third floor)
  • Spell Damage (fourth floor)
  • Visitor's Tearoom and Hospital Shop (fifth floor)
