Spotlight Archive

Spotlight Archive is a branch in the Community section of Unknowable Room. All members who have been Spotlighted are listed, by month and year, with a short interview.

All members spotlighted prior to September of 2006 are archived on one page in the Spotlight Archive. Unfortunately, prior to Missers taking over the program, no records were kept of who had been spotlighted. A message was sent out asking for those members who had been spotlighted and all are archived together.

As of September 2006, and each month after, a separate page is made to list each member spotlighted that month. An interview, consisting of nine generalized questions, is sent to each member that is spotlighted. If the author chooses, they may complete the survey and it is posted below their name and link to their profile in the Spotlight Archive.

The purpose behind the Spotlight Archive is for members and visitors of Unknowable Room to find authors who have once been spotlighted. The idea stemmed from members asking for past Spotlights, either curious or wanting to read their work. As the demand increased and the actual Spotlighting was inconsistently updated, Missers took control over the program. Spotlight is updated as close to weekly as possible with the Spotlight Archive updated as often as Spotlighting is done and interviews are returned.
