Shell Cottage

Shell Cottage is the house inhabited by Bill and Fleur Weasley after their wedding. Ron hid there after parting with Harry and Hermione due to his despair over Harry's lack of a firm plan for the Horcrux quest (DH20).

When Dobby rescued the Trio, Luna, Griphook and Mr. Ollivander from Malfoy Manor, Harry instructed him to take them all to Shell Cottage. Harry was among the last to leave; he Apparated with Dobby without realising that the elf had been murdered by Bellatrix Lestrange.

He later dug Dobby's grave and buried him in Shell Cottage, under the epitaph "Here lies Dobby, a free elf" (DH23).
