Lavender Brown owns a baby rabbit named Binky that is killed by a fox. The news reaches Lavender on October 16, 1993; she takes it as a confirmation of Sybill Trelawney's talent as a Seer because the teacher had predicted that something Lavender was dreading would happen that day (PA8).
