Plagiarism is the unabashed copy, sometimes with small changes, of a previously published or posted literary work. Most fanfiction archives have a strong anti-plagiarism policy, and Unknowable Room is no exception.

At FanFiction.Net, plagiarism is an offence that warrants immediate deletion. One notable effect of this policy was the Cassandra Claire plagiarism debacle.
