Character:Pansy Parkinson

Pansy Parkinson is a Slytherin in Harry Potter's year. She is pug-faced (PA6) and in her fifth year she was made a prefect as well as member of the Inquisitorial Squad.

Pansy has a rather ambiguous relationship with Draco Malfoy. Though she clearly is quite fond of him -- she is very concerned when he is injured by Buckbeak (PA6), she is his date to the Yule Ball (GF27) and she looks very pleased when he lays with his head in her lap on the Hogwarts Express (HBP7) -- it is never explicitly stated that she and Draco are in a relationship.

Pansy, like Malfoy, Crabbe, Goyle and indeed most of the Slytherins, intensely dislikes Harry Potter, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger, though she seems to especially dislike Hermione.
