Palmistry

Palmistry is the act of palm reading, a branch of Divination. It is taught in the first year of Divination at Hogwarts during the second term (PA6).

During the first lesson back in Divination, second term, the class started palmistry. After reading Harry's palm, Professor Trelawney announced that Harry's life line was the shortest she had ever seen (PA12).
