Everyone is very curious to know what happened in the Great Lake (GF26), which means that, once more, Ron Weasley shares the limelight with Harry Potter. Ron's tale changes with every telling, becoming progressively more danger-filled and interesting. Padma Patil, for one, is keener on spending time with Ron now that he is famous.

The truth, however, is this: Albus Dumbledore put the hostages into a bewitched sleep in Minerva McGonagall's office, making sure that they would be safe and would wake up once they left the water.

Hermione Granger is being teased for being the person Viktor Krum would miss the most, and is constantly in a tetchy mood.
