Latin America

Latin America is a far corner of the world (well, not that far, if you think about it). It is big--mind-bogglingly so, in fact. There are lots of people in it. Most of them speak some variation of Spanish or other (they call it "accents", but honestly), but not, as Christy has to point out tiringly often, all of them. Some speak Portuguese (yes, it's spelled with a U, thank you very much).

It's an awesome place. You should totally go visit.
