Hogsmeade is the only exclusively wizarding village in Britain. It was founded by Hengist of Woodcroft in the medieval era (FW). It is close to Hogwarts, and third-year students with permission slips signed by their parents or guardians are allowed to visit it in predetermined weekends (PA1).
