Gamekeeper's Hut

The gamekeeper's hut is a small wooden house in the Hogwarts grounds, where Rubeus Hagrid leaves. It is very rustic. Fang is usually inside (PS8). The Trio often visits it during free periods (PS8, PS14, CS7, CS14, PA6, PA16, GF24, among others).

After the Battle of the Astronomy Tower, Thorfinn Rowle sets the cabin on fire. Hagrid is very angry, for Fang was still inside, and enters the hut to rescue the boarhound; the half-giant, with Harry's help, uses the Aguamenti spell to put out the fire (HBP28).
