Floo Network Authority

The Floo Network Authority, also known as the Floo Network office (OP27), is located on level six of the Ministry of Magic building. It is subordinate to the Department of Magical Transportation (OP7). It presumably oversees and regulates the usage of hearths and Floo powder; the so-called Floo Network Regulators who work for this office can watch every Floo travel and call in Britain (OP28, DH1). The Floo Regulation Panel is probably subordinate to this unit (GF4).

Madam Edgecombe, mother of Marietta Edgecombe, works for the Floo Network office. In the school year of 1995 to 1996, she helps Dolores Umbridge to watch the Hogwarts fire places (OP27).
