Elixir to Induce Euphoria

An Elixir to Induce Euphoria causes, as implied by its name, the drinker to become euphoric.

When brewed correctly, the Elixir is sunshine yellow in colour. Adding a sprig of peppermint serves to counterbalance the possible side effects of the brew, which include excessive singing and nose-tweaking. Instructions for the potion can be found in Advanced Potion-Making.

Harry Potter decides to brew some of this Elixir for Slughorn, who has asked his class to brew him "something amusing!" (HBP22).
