Dragon Steak

Dragon steak is a steak of dragon meat. When the Trio visits Hagrid after his return from the giants, he uses a bloody dragon steak that is a little larger than a car tyre to treat the facial wounds he received from his half-brother Grawp. He claims that it helps with the stinging. The blood that seeps out of the steak has a greenish tinge.
Hagrid takes the steak out from under a tea towel when the Trio arrives. Ron Weasley remarks that the steak looks poisonous; Hagrid counters that is is supposed to look like that and that he does not want to eat it as he slaps it over his eye. When Hermione Granger reveals that she knows Hagrid has been visiting the giants, Hagrid is so shocked that he lets the steak slip onto his chest. He catches it and slaps it back over his face, only to throw it onto the table the next moment when the Trio tells him that his destination was obvious. He returns the steak to his face after making tea. When he learn that Harry Potter has been attacked by Dementors, he drops the steak once again. Dragon blood splashes over the table and the steak slids to the floor where Fang starts to chew on it. Hagrid tucks the steak out of Fang's mouth. Hermione protests that it is not hygienic, but Hagrid puts it back over his eye without listening to her. He keeps turning and adjusting it while he finishes his story. The steak still covers most of his face when Dolores Umbridge enters his hut. He hastily removes it when she questions him about his injuries and only slaps it back onto his face after she leaves (OP20).
