The Dragon Research and Restraint Bureau is a Ministry of Magic unit subordinate to the Beast Division at the Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures.

Newt Scamander worked at the Dragon Research and Restraint Bureau. He went on several research trips abroad for the bureau during which he collected information for his best-seller Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them (FBa).
