Dennis Creevey is a Muggle-born wizard who attends Hogwarts three years below Harry Potter and was Sorted into Gryffindor (GF12). Together with his older brother Colin, he joined Dumbledore's Army in his second year (OP16).

Characteristics and Family
Dennis is the son of a Muggle milkman (CS6). He greatly resembles his brother Colin, both in looks and behaviour. He is a very short boy with mousy hair who is easily excitable, enthusiastic and delighted by anything new and unusual, including the fact that he is a wizard. He also inherited Colin's awe of Harry Potter (GF12, GF18).
Hogwarts
Dennis joined Hogwarts in September 1994, two years after his brother. He fell into the Great Lake on his way to the Hogwarts castle and was fished out of the water by the giant squid. He entered the Sorting Feast wearing Rubeus Hagrid's huge coat, enthusiastic about the accident. He was then Sorted into Gryffindor (GF12). The two Creevey brothers were often seen together (GF18, GF19, OP11, HBP14).
Dennis joined Dumbledore's Army in the first meeting of the group at the Hog's Head (OP16). How the boy got into Hogsmeade as a second-year is unknown; the school rules do not allow visits before third year (PA1).
