Daisy Dodderidge (1467–1555) was the witch who built the Leaky Cauldron. Her intention was to create a passage between Diagon Alley and the Muggle world. She was known to be very generous, and her pub's welcoming atmosphere attracted many customers (FW). Daisy was Wizard of the Month on jkrowling.com for March of 2006.
