Confusing Draught is a type of potion that induces recklessness and hot-headedness. Common ingredients are scurvy-grass, lovage and sneezewort.

Harry Potter is reading up on Befuddlement and Confusing Draughts at night in October 1995. He cannot concentrate properly on the text because his thoughts dwell on his strange mental connection with Voldemort and the founding of a secret student group to practice Defence Against the Dark Arts (OP18).
