Colour Change Charm

The Colour Change Charm is a spell Harry Potter was required to perform on a rat, in order to turn it orange, during his Charms OWLs. He mixed up the incantations, casting instead a Growth Charm, and caused the animal to swell alarmingly (OP31).

Harry presumably uses this spell on July 31, 1997, in celebration of his coming to age in the wizarding world. He changes the colour of the Quidditch players in Ron's Chudley Cannons poster from orange to bright blue (DH6).
