The Cleansweep is a broomstick manufactured by the Cleansweep Broom Company. Developed in 1926 by the Ollerton brothers, the Cleansweep was the first broom to be mass-produced. The broomstick, the first racing broom specifically designed for sporting events, was widely popular, and the Cleansweep Broom Company had a monopoly on the broomstick market until 1929, with the introduction of the Comet 140 by The Comet Trading Company (QA9).

There are several models of Cleansweeps, ranging from Cleansweep One, released in 1926, to Cleansweep Eleven, the latest model, which was released in 1995 (QA9, OP9).
