Christmas Pudding
From UnknowableWiki
Christmas Pudding is a traditional dish served on Christmas Day in England. Though families tend to have their own recipes, the boiled pudding (also known as plum pudding) is typically formed with dried fruits such as sultanas and apricots, and padded out with suet, black sugar, citrus juices and brandy. The pudding is customarily coated with brandy butter, which is set alight. It is also traditional to hide coins in the Christmas Pudding as a gift from Santa Claus, as well as to give good luck for the following year (WP).
In Harry's first year flaming Christmas puddings were served at the Christmas meal. Percy Weasley found a Sickle hidden in his slice (PS12).
In Harry's fourth year Christmas puddings were again served at the Christmas meal, and were described as numbering in the hundreds (GF23).
