Warrington is a Chaser in the Slytherin Quidditch team (PA15). He is a big wizard who, in Dean Thomas' words, resembles a sloth (GF16). His first name probably starts with a C. A certain 'C. Warrington' once borrowed Quidditch through the Ages from the Hogwarts library (QAb).

On October 30, 1994, when Albus Dumbledore allowed all Hogwarts students over the age of seventeen to put their names in the Goblet of Fire, there was a rumour that Warrington had added his. This displeased Harry, who hoped that Angelina Johnson, a Gryffindor like him, would be selected (GF16).

1994 Quidditch final

Warrington played in the final of the 1993/1994 Quidditch Cup. He intercepted a move towards the goal of Alicia Spinnet's, but got hit by a Bludger that George Weasley sent his way and dropped the Quaffle. Later in the game, Fred Weasley threw another Bludger in Warrington's direction and caused him to drop the Quaffle once more; Alicia got it and scored Gryffindor's seventh goal. Gryffindor eventually won the match (PA15).

1995 match against Gryffindor

Before Ron Weasley's first game as Keeper for the Gryffindor Quidditch team, Pansy Parkinson taunted Harry Potter, saying that Warrington had sworn to knock him off his broomstick during the game. Harry dismissed this with a derogatory comment about Warrington's dreadful aim. His retort made Ron and Hermione laugh, whereas Pansy looked displeased.

During the match, after Miles Bletchley saved a goal, he threw the Quaffle to Warrington, who dodged Alicia and Katie as he flew to the goalpost. The Slytherins watching the match were singing Weasley Is Our King very loudly, upsetting Ron; Warrington's Quaffle passed between his outstretched arms, and Slytherin scored for the first time in the game.

Warrington made a pass to Adrian Pucey, who lost the Quaffle due to a Bludger of Fred's; Warrington recovered the ball, only to drop it soon afterwards. After some more passes, Slytherin scored a few times, but Harry caught the Snitch, and Gryffindor won the game (OP19).

Inquisitorial Squad

Warrington was one of the members of the Inquisitorial Squad. The student body's hostile reaction to this new institution forced him to go to the hospital wing due to a hex that had affected his skin, making it look as though it were coated in cornflakes (OP30).

Harry asked Ginny and Luna to keep students away from the corridor when he broke into Umbridge's office to find out whether Sirius was in number twelve, Grimmauld Place, suspecting that he had been captured by Voldemort. Warrington was one of the members of the Inquisitorial Squad who helped Umbridge capture everyone who was assisting Harry in this endeavour; he shoved Ron into the room, and reported that he had brought Neville as well for having tried to prevent him from getting Ginny.

Harry and Hermione led Umbridge to the Forbidden Forest under the pretence of showing her a secret weapon that Dumbledore had ordered them to make (OP32). Meanwhile, the members of Dumbledore's Army that remained in the office freed themselves from the Squad's grasp with the help of Stunning Spells, a Disarming Charm, an Impediment Jinx and Bat Bogey Hex (OP33).
