Character:Thomas, Sr.

Thomas Sr. is the father of Dean Thomas. He fell in love with Dean's mother, but neglected to tell her that he was a wizard, in an attempt to protect her. Shortly afterwards, he was murdered by Death Eaters after refusing to join them.

Dean never found out the truth about his father. It was one of the plotlines that didn't make the final edit of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (JKRW).
