Character:Sir Cadogan

Sir Cadogan is a painting that hangs on the way to the North Tower. Bill Weasley called him a "mad knight" (GF31); the short and squat Sir Cadogan tends to ramble on in a bizarre and Quixote-like fashion when approached. He is accompanied in his portrait by a fat, grey pony.

Harry Potter, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger asked him for help to get to Sybill Trelawney's Divination classroom (PA6).

He temporarily replaced the Fat Lady after Sirius Black attacked her (PA9).
