Character:Roderick Plumpton

Roderick Plumpton (1889–1987) was Seeker and Captain of the Quidditch team Tutshill Tornados during the team's most successful period, in the early twentieth century. Under his lead, the Tornados won the League Cup five times in a row, setting a new record in the history of the tournament.

Plumpton played Seeker for England twenty-two times, and holds the British record for catching the Snitch three and a half seconds into a game against the Caerphilly Catapults, in 1921 (FW, QA7). The move he used to achieve such deed became known the Plumpton Pass (QA10).
