Nott Sr. is Theodore Nott's father and a Death Eater during the First and Second War. After the disappearance of Lord Voldemort, Nott managed to escape going to Azkaban, but he was one of the Death Eaters who returned when the Dark Lord was reborn (GF33).

Nott participated in the Battle of the Department of Mysteries (OP35).
