Hannah Abbott was a Hufflepuff in the same year as the Trio. She was the first student to be Sorted on September 1, 1991 (PS7).

Her mother was murdered in Hannah's sixth year. Hannah did not return to school (HBP11).

Hannah fought in the Battle of Hogwarts (DH31). She later married Neville Longbottom, and became the landlady of the Leaky Cauldron. The couple lived over the pub (CH).
