Character:Florean Fortescue

Florean Fortescue is the owner of Florean Fortescue's Ice-Cream Parlour, a shop in Diagon Alley.

When Harry Potter stayed for a while at the inn above the Leaky Cauldron, in the summer before his third year, Florean helped him with homework (he knew a lot about medieval witch-burnings) and gave him free sundaes every half-hour (PA3).

A few weeks into the Second War, Florean was dragged off his shop by Death Eaters (HBP6). He was murdered (PC).
