Character:Dirk Cresswell

Dirk Cresswell was Head of the Goblin Liaison Office at the Ministry of Magic; he succeeded Cuthbert Mockridge in that position (GF7). During his Hogwarts years--he was in the year after Lily Evans--, Cresswell was a member of the Slug Club. As of 1996, he passed on information about the internal happenings at Gringotts to his former mentor, Horace Slughorn (HBP4). He went into hiding after Lord Voldemort gained control over the Ministry (DH15). He was found and killed by Voldemort's followers (DH22).

Cresswell could speak Gobbledegook (DH15).
