Darren O'Hare was a professional Quidditch player from Ireland. He was the Keeper for the Kenmare Kestrels from 1947 to 1960. He was also captain of the Irish National Team three times. O'Hare invented the Hawkshead Attacking Formation (QA7).

He once stated that the German team Heidelberg Harriers were "fiercer than a dragon and twice as clever" (QA8).
