"Dangerous" Dai Llewellyn was a Quidditch player famous for his insane stints. He played for the Caerphilly Catapults, and died eated by a Chimaera while on holiday in Mykonos, Greece. His death brought about a national mourning day in Wales (QA7).

Kennilworthy Whisp wrote a biography of him, entitled He Flew Like a Madman (QAa). There is a ward named after him in St. Mungo's (OP22). The Dangerous Dai Commemorative Medal is also awarded every year to the League player who takes the most risks during a Quidditch match (QA7).
