Character:Bole

Bole is a Slytherin who graduated from Hogwarts in 1994 or 1995. He played the position of Beater in the Slytherin Quidditch team in the school year of 1993 to 1994 and possibly also in the years before. According to Gryffindor Chaser Angelina Johnson, who likened him to a gorilla, he is extremely stupid and not a good flyer. The same applies to his partner Derrick and their successors Crabbe and Goyle (OP19).

Bole and Derrick played during the Quidditch final of Slytherin versus Gryffindor in 1994, a particularly brutal match. After Gryffindor scored the first three goals, Bole and Derrick, their clubs raised, flew straight at Harry Potter, who darted straight upwards and let the two Beaters crash into each other with a sickening crunch. Commentator Lee Jordan, a Gryffindor, was delighted at this. Later, Bole hit Gryffindor Chaser Alicia Spinnet with his club. He tried to excuse his foul by claiming that he had confused her with a Bludger. In retaliation, George Weasley elbowed him in the face and both teams were awarded penalties. After Katie Bell scored another goal, the Weasley twins protected her from the wrath of the Slytherin players. Bole and Derrick used the Gryffindor Beaters' preoccupation to shoot two Bludgers at Gryffindor Keeper Oliver Wood's stomach. Since the Keeper must not be attacked unless the Quaffle is in the scoring area, referee Madam Hooch shrieked at the two Beaters and awarded a penalty to Gryffindor. Bole shot a last Bludger at Hary when he dived for the Snitch, but he missed and Harry's catch won the Quidditch Cup for Gryffindor (PA15).

Before the match of Gryffindor against Slytherin in 1995, the new Gryffindor captain Angelina Johnson told her team that Bole and Derrick had graduated and been replaced by Crabbe and Goyle. Angelina mocked Bole and Derrick for their stupidity and commented that she had often wondered how they managed to find the pitch without signposts (OP19).
