Character:Alphard Black

Alphard Black was the younger brother of Walburga Black, mother of Sirius and Regulus. His parents were Pollux and Irma Black (née Crabbe). He was presumably born between 1925 (Walburga's birthyear) and 1929 (his brother Cygnus' birthyear) (BFT). He left money to his runaway nephew Sirius in his will, and for that he was blasted off the Black Family Tree by his sister (OP6).

In fanon, he is often assumed to be a black sheep like Sirius, although not to such a radical extent. It is possible that Alphard was viewed as a harmless eccentric.
