Character:Ali Bashir

Ali Bashir is a carpet tradesman, presumably living in Asia. He was against Arthur Weasley's embargo on flying carpets, and contacted Mr. Weasley repeatedly in regards to this matter. According to Barty Crouch, Sr., Bashir was desperate to export the carpets to Britain, though they were banned, being a Muggle Artefact by the Registry of Proscribed Charmable Objects. He thought that they could become popular as a family vehicle (GF7).
