Character:Alderton

Alderton is one of the wizards called for questioning at the Muggle-born Registration Commission. He claimed to be a half-blood, and the son of well-known broomstick designer Arkie Alderton in order to avoid going to Azkaban; Umbridge threatened him with a Dementor's Kiss if he refused to go quietly.

Harry Potter saw him being taken away, desperately screaming that he deserved to get Blood Status. After Umbridge's threat, Alderton stopped yelling, and two Dementors dragged him out of the courtroom; he seemed to be fainting (DH13).
