Alasdair Maddock was a Chaser on the Montrose Magpies Quidditch team; however, he was sacked by manager Cormack McLeod for his seemingly excessive interest in Muggle sports, such as football and golf. His use of Muggle football techniques during the Magpies' game against the Kenmare Kestrels was cited as the reason for the Magpies' loss (DP).
