Fake book titles were rumours that commonly spread around the web in the months before the release of the official title of the next Harry Potter book.
J. K. Rowling often mocked these titles in her website; she once joked, "The Pyramids of Furmat lie a few miles east of the famous Fortress of Shadows, not far from the magnificent Pillar of Storgé. Many tourists prefer to view these ancient monuments at night, when they are illuminated by the Green Flame Torch" (JKRW).
